We would like to introduce our workspace and the topics we are working on: Both of us are provided with an own desk in the spacious student office room at the BP Clean Energy Research and Education Center. Additionally the IKDG has provided laptops and monitors to ensure best working conditions for the master theses. Nils focuses on flue gas recirculation in gas turbines that are fired with mixtures of CH4 and H2 and what impact the recirculation has on the turbomachine and its emissions.
Christian is busy modelling a high-temperature fuel cell. He wants to determine implementation possibilities within an open gas turbine process that is also fired with mixtures of CH4 and H2.

In this week’s spare time we are going to visit the venerable Great Wall. We will keep you updated!
