Ni hao from Beijing!
During the first weeks here we were happy to get many insights into the chinese culture: culinary, architecturally and socially. Last sunday we added another one: Weiqi, a traditional chinese board game.
It has been played for over 2000 years and ranks among the most challenging games that originated from the asian culture. As late as 2016 the acting champion was defeated by a computer algorithm.
Good for them they haven’t asked us to compete; we would have made the computer look antiquated!
